Hartford.com’s Hooker Day Parade & Festival honors Hartford’s founder, Thomas Hooker. This annual parade is a family-oriented extravaganza with giant puppets, costumes, candy, Mardi-Gras beads, marching bands, and brass bands. The parade steps off at high noon and the day includes various forms of live entertainment, food trucks, a craft beer garden, a maker’s market, and a classic car show. So much to do and see and always a great time!
