A Green, Adaptive Reuse Building
Sustainability
Capewell Lofts are built with very high standards for green and sustainable practices – LEED Gold standards, to be exact.
What is LEED?
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) was created by the US Green Building Council to recognize and encourage sustainable buildings and practices. Using detailed checklists, a project is assigned points for what environmentally conscious decisions have been made in categories that include sustainable sites, water efficiency, and energy and atmosphere. This system allows that not every project can meet every qualification due to the constraints of space, time, or money, but provides ample opportunity to make more sustainable decisions.
What this means for you is that you live in a place that is efficient, quiet, built with integrity, and best of all–good for the planet.
